What are the Best Lenovo Tablets – 2017 Review
Lenovo Miix 510 – Best Tablet Under 700
The 2-in-1 tablet hybrid laptops are no longer the new thing on the market. In the market, there are a variety of devices which feature detachable keyboards and have Windows 10 OS that can function as both tablets and laptops.
The Lenovo Miix 510 is a laptop of this hybrid category which is very well-designed. While you might not call it utterly stunning, but it does have a distinctive look and the watchband-style hinges gives it a distinctive touch.
The keyboard of the Miix 5 is detachable and also has an optional backlight which doubles up as a protective faux leather folio case too. The combination seems to be fairly easy to grip and hold onto.
One nice feature many of us forget to consider are viewing angles. The viewing angles of the Miix 5 are very good, making it easy to use this 2-in-1 for collaborative work.
Loaded with an Intel Core i5, the Miix 510 here has no problem when it comes to high performance and specs. Compared to other tablets in the same price range, the Miix 5 offers a stunning HD display which may not be on a par with the Surface Pro 4, but definitely can deliver high quality video output.
This makes it not only one of the best Lenovo tablets available but also one of the Best Laptops for College Students this year.
Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Plus – Best Tablet Under 300
The Yoga Tab 3 Plus is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC processor with Qualcomm Adreno 510 graphics which means it can easily run high-end applications and games pretty well.
To deliver a seamless multi-tasking experience it comes with 3 GB RAM plus 32 GB of NAND flash storage. And in addition, it also has a microSD card slot for additional storage space. This tablet utilizes USB Type-C (operates in USB 2.0 mode) connector for charging and connectivity purposes and also supports all connectivity features including WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0 and LTE wireless tech.
Lenovo positions its Yoga Tab 3 Plus tablet for those people, who wish to have the best multimedia experience on-the-go, no matter where they are. That means it’s part of the reason why it’s 10-point multi-touch 10.1” WQXGA (2560×1600) IPS display uses Technicolor’s color enhanced software to deliver a truly vibrant and HD display. Along with all this, the device also has four front-facing speakers (made by JBL) and comes with Dolby’s Atmos 3D surround sound processing.
The Yoga Tab 3 Pro features a pico projector whereas the Tab 3 Plus does not feature a pico projector, but just like the Yoga Tab 3 Pro model, it has two cameras. And at this affordable price point, it’s worth checking out.
Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Pro – Best Tablet Under 500
A step up from the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus, the Pro is definitely a head turner.
Most tablets come in a generic slate like design – bor-ing! The Yoga Tab 3 Pro is a tablet that goes against this generic design with a cylindrical spine on the bottom edge, which is also where the battery is housed.
After being tested by playing a 720p video (on its screen, not through the projector) on loop in airplane mode at medium brightness, the tablet’s battery finally wore out at 12.8 hours. This long lasting battery is no doubt quite an endurance model for any tablet, especially for one tablet which has such a big screen. That pico projector itself is not that awesome, but the fact that it is built-in a tablet is. When you call Lenovo’s pico projector a gimmick, that’s like ignoring that it is like the cherry on top of a really sweet and awesome Android tablet.
The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro is a tablet with high-speed performance which has some solid gaming power, loud speakers, and a crystal clear screen. Its unique and distinctive design also has a built-in kickstand and a cylindrical spine that makes it comfortable and easy to be gripped in one hand. To top it off, it comes with an impressively long-lasting battery.
Getting all of these features in a tablet is not standard which is why we definitely add this to our list as one of the best Lenovo tablets of 2017.
Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 8-inch – Best Tablet Under 200
As you can figure out by the name, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 8-inch features an 8-inch IPS LCD display with a 1280 x 800 resolution.
The tablet might not give you the highest resolution display available on the market, but when it is compared to other tablets that are in the same price range on the market, the users will appreciate the quality of the panel. It’s got solid & accurate color reproduction, good viewing angles, and a fair amount of brightness at the highest setting.
When we talk about the specs, the Yoga Tab 3 8-inch sports a quad-core 1.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor, and is backed by the Adreno 304 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. It is only available with 16 GB when it comes to built-in storage, but the storage can be expanded via microSD card by up to 128 GB.
For this price point, I think it’s a strong option to look into if you are looking for a basic tablet that performs.
